NeuralChek Pre-Scan FAQs
This article will outline the FAQs for pre-scans of the NeuralChek
How should the patient or client sit during a NeuralChek scan?
The person being scanned should be sitting upright with their hands in their lap or on a pillow. Hands should not be touching, and ankles should not be crossed. They should breathe normally and keep their eyes open.
Should the patient or client remove their rings or watches?
Rings, including Oura rings, are fine to wear for the scan. Braclets and watches are fine to wear as long as the lead clip is able to make full contact with the inside of the person's wrist and is not touching the jewelry. Men's watches are tougher to work around comfortably, so you may encourage them to remove their watches prior to starting the scan. Smart watches such as Apple watches, Garmin, Whoops, Withing's, Biostraps, or any other wearable on the wrist that is used to measure HRV will interfere with the scan, so accessories such as these should always be removed prior to placing the lead clips.
