NeuralChek Quick Troubleshoot Guide
This article will be a quick guide on troubleshooting issues like "Scan won't Start", "Device not Connecting", and "Scans Fail or Won't Save".
Scan won't start?
- Ensure the wrists have been sprayed with water or saline (preferably)
- Make sure the hands aren't touching and ankles aren't crossed - feet should be flat on the floor
- If the scan still won't start, move the left lead from the wrist to the ankle
- Spray the angle with water/saline prior to applying and ensure the sensor is resting on the inside of the ankle.
- Right-click on the name of the client and select "Disable error filtering for the next exam."
Device not connecting?
- Switch USB Ports if more than 1 is present on the computer
- Use a different USB-C Cord to connect the analyzer to the computer (Your BrainTap headset charger will work just fine for this)
- Close and re-launch the NeuralChek Program
- Close the NeuralChek Program, restart the computer, and relaunch the program
Scans fail or won't save?
- Check available RAM - at least 4 GB is needed, but 6+ GB is preferred
- If the computer is low on RAM, update it so you will have more available
- If RAM isn't the issue, then the client's voltage is the issue, and you will need to see the more advanced troubleshooting documents for more information
