Product Care Instructions

To get the most from your BrainTap Headset, utilizing the following tips is highly recommended

  • Always handle your BrainTap headset with care
  • Always use the cords and power source provided in your BrainTap headset case .
  • Plug and unplug all cords by the lead ends. Do not pull the connectors by tugging on the wires. This may result in damage to the wire or device and will void your BrainTap headset warranty .
  • Do not run the headset continuously for long periods of time. It is recommended that the device be powered off between sessions .
  • Avoid placing magnets near the headset .
  • Avoid exposing the headset to moisture, direct sunlight, and humid environments
  • Avoid exposing the headset to water, fire, or ice .
  • Do not store the headset near any high-temperature objects such as stoves or in the presence of flammable gases .
  • Do not perform any technical repairs on the headset. Any such actions will void the headset warranty. For technical assistance contact BrainTap at support@braintap.com.

 

CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS

  • Before cleaning, unplug all cables and make sure the headset is in the OFF position
  • Lightly mist a standard medical-grade disinfectant cleaner on a clean lint-free

    cloth and gently wipe down the device
  • Do NOT spray cleaners directly onto the device including the visor and earpieces
  • Do NOT use window cleaner, household cleaner, aerosol spray, solvents, alcohol, 

    ammonia, or abrasives to clean the device. We recommend using CleanSmart to clean your device.
