What are Troubleshoot Steps for NeuralChek GO?

Hardware device troubleshoots

Problem Cause Solution
no connection to the device

1. Low Battery
2. The device is paired with an iPhone

1. Charge the device
2. Remove the paired device from the phone/tablet Bluetooth settings.

Unable to complete measurement

1. Heart rhythm disturbance
2. Poor skin contact
3. Movement occurs during measurement, or thumbs are not properly placed on the device.

1. Measurement is impossible
2. Please clean the electrodes, wet your thumbs.
3. Do not move

Quick Fixes:
  1. Make sure your NeuralChek device is charged. Most issues with the device occur due to low or dead battery.
  2. Make sure Bluetooth is turned on on your phone and you have accepted the in app permissions.
  3. Turn Bluetooth off and back on. This refreshes the connection on your phone.
  4. Close the BrainTap app and reopen it.
  5. Make sure you're within a few feet of the device during the measurement.
  6. Restart your phone if the above didn't help.
